How to Store Jerky for Long Shelf Life and Great Taste
Jerky is a popular, protein-rich snack that’s convenient and shelf-stable, making it ideal for travel, workouts, and everyday snacking. However, its shelf life depends on factors like whether it is unopened or opened, homemade or store-bought. While unopened beef jerky can last for months when stored in a cool, dry place, exposure to air and moisture after opening significantly reduces its freshness and increases the risk of spoilage.
